I was once a victim of the AWSurveys scam. I joined their program, spent my time taking surveys that they sent into my user control panel, referred new members, and then earned nothing from them.
What is AWSurveys?
AWSurveys is a survey site which can be accessed at awsurveys.com. AWSurveys promise you to earn huge money by just taking online surveys. It’s free to join their program and they accept people from anywhere in the world as long as those countries are supported by Paypal or AlertPay.
Members of the AWSurveys could earn money not only by taking online surveys. They could also earn money by referring their friends to join the AWSurveys.
And once you reached the payout limit of $75, you could request to redeem your income by check or through Paypal or AlertPay. But you will be charged of $25 for the processing. In other words, you’d receive only $50 from your $75 income.
AWSurveys, a Scam?
I know that there are people who joined the AWSurveys and successfully earned money from the system and received the payment.
But it doesn’t mean that because there are those who really make money from it then it’s not a scam anymore.
Remember that there are lots of people who participated any pyramiding scheme scams and they earned lots of money from the system. However, pyramiding scheme of making money remains a scam because members are just making money from the membership fees paid by their downlines.
But AWSurveys is a free survey site. It’s of course different to the pyramiding scheme because to join in a pyramiding scheme of making money, you need to pay the membership fee. But here with the AWSurveys, you need to pay nothing just to join the program.
So, how do AWSurveys scammed people?
It’s true that you did not pay anything to join the program. And right after joining the program, you would be given the chance to earn more or less $30 for about 7 available surveys.
But the problem starts after taking those 7 surveys. The next round of survey will be available on the next month and the system will pay you $1 per survey.
You waited for another set of surveys because you wanted to take them all and earn huge money from them. Until you realized that AWSurveys will only give you 1 $1 survey per month.
Now, you started wondering, how could I earn huge money from that system. And I couldn’t even redeem my current income because the payout limit is $75. From that, you already realized that AWSurveys don’t want to pay their members who only took surveys.
So, you waited more months, took more surveys. When you almost reached the payout limit of $75, your account was deleted.
Ohh! The precious time you spent in taking surveys was just wasted.
Understanding the AWSurveys
Based on my understanding, the AWSurveys is actually not a real survey site. They can get ideas from you as you took those available surveys but that’s not their real focus.
Actually, people behind AWSurveys make money from the visits you made into the websites that you are going to review because those websites are the websites of their advertisers. And they will be making huge money if you will sign-up an account from the websites you are reviewing because the owner of those websites partnered with the AWSurveys, paying the AWSurveys for every users they referred who signup an account.
That’s the reason why they’re not sending you more surveys after taking those initial surveys right after your join the program and making the payout limit to $75.
Now since, you wanted to be paid for what you did, so you will now aim to reach the payout limit by earning incentives from the referrals you’ll make because AWSurveys will pay you $1.25 per referral.
And that the time when people behind the AWSurveys will be happy for you because as you refer more people to join the program, they will also be making huge money from their advertisers. And they will even make more money by porfeiting the money that supposed to be earned by its members who are accused of violating the terms of the program.
