Right, I went to play Golf in the driving range at one of the golf venue in Northshore the other day. Since it was my second time, I didn’t have my own set. So I used one of the clubs they provide.

Here is what my left hand ended up with after hitting 150 balls…..

Honest advice, if you are new to Golf and thinking of doing it more often: BUY YOUR OWN GOLF SET!!! at least buy a second hand driver.

When started my internet marketing journey, I have heard a lot of “experts” talking about how easy it is to start your own business online, how easy it is to quite your daily job and work 2-3 hours at home and make millions. While I think these kinds of statements are exaggerated, I do believe that internet marketing has become a “must-do” for any businesses nowadays.

When my friends challenge my belief in internet marketing, I always ask them the following question: do you still read news papers? Most answers I got from them are: “NO”. News is updated every hour if not every minute on websites. You can even setup a RSS Feed reader on your computer that will pop up headlines seconds after the editor post a new article. Internet has become a media rather than a tool of communication! Businesses that don’t have a website are like salesmen that don’t have a business card, they don’t look professional!

Lots of people are confused by the “experts’” fancy “make millions while you sleep” theory and started their internet wealth journey. They thought that all they need to do is to setup a website, put some contents on it, put affiliate links in the content, do some PPC or SEO and then sit back and wait for the paychecks. While this “process” is partially true, they forgot the most important feature of a successful business – value to the customers!

Give more than you take!

People are not idiots! They don’t just come to your website and buy from you. There must be value that your website or your business provides that no one else could. Be it unique services or products, lower price, etc. you need to provide value to your prospects. As stated in the book “The Art of SEO”, content is king! The content of your website needs to contain some value to your visitors. When you help your visitors, they will reward you by purchasing your product or service. Tricking people to buy from you might work once, but you certainly can’t last long.

This “give more than you take” statement might sound like “selling below cost” but it’s actually “invest for your future wealth”. When you are seriously helping people with their problems, they will become your friends and reward you a lot of valuable stuff that cannot be measured by money term. Attract Website Traffic With Website Content

A successful website business is one that has a lot of traffic visiting it. Adding content articles to your website can help you get more visitors to your website. The more content you provide for your visitors, the more value they will see in your website – and then they will return again and again. Each time they return to your website to read your great content, you have the opportunity to expose them to what you have to offer, whether it be a sales product, a newsletter subscription, or a service.

However, not all website content is alike. What your visitors want to see is quality content in line with what your website is all about. When they enter a keyword or phrase into a search engine, they are searching for something specific. If you website turns up as a result of that search, that topic is what the web surfer wants to read about. For instance, if the web surfer wants to know about how to bake an angel-food cake, be sure you provide the information they want – not something about car engines. If you provide ‘on-target’ content, your web visitors will be pleased with your website, maybe even enough to stop and buy one of your products.

Search engines will also look favorably upon your website if you are constantly changing and adding to your web pages with great content. Believe it or not, search engines are just as devoted to keeping web surfers happy as you are. They want their searchers to find what they are looking for and if your website lives up to what it is supposed to do (provide information on a specific subject), the search engines will be happy with you and reward you with a better ranking. And with better rankings more visitors will be able to find your website.

So with great website content, you have now pleased the search engines and your potential customers. And this has all come about just by providing great content articles on your website. The website content you provide on your website should be on-target (as mentioned), be interesting and informative. You should also try to provide something new for your visitors to enjoy. Don’t just repeat the same old material that is all over the web already. Try to give a new twist on an old subject, or provide a new tip, or introduce a new idea or product in your web content.

The articles do not have to be lengthy missives either. You only need short 400-600 word articles, and in fact these shorter works are easier for your visitors to read on their computer screens.

You may find it difficult to write a lot of website content articles yourself, or you may have trouble putting the right words together. There are a number of resources that you can use to overcome this problem. Try to buy PLR packages of articles for a cheap, easy way to add website content to your website. You have the basics of each article before you, with all the research and writing already done for you. (It is best if you try to change the wording a bit or add a new tip in with the PLR article so that it becomes uniquely your own.) You can also buy pre-written unique articles on your subject. Or you can hire a freelance writer to write articles for you. These are articles that are one-of-a-kind geared specifically to your visitors and website. The cost of hiring a freelance writer to write your website content can be weighed against the business those articles will produce.

There are also free websites where you can find articles that may suit your niche. Keep in mind, however, that these articles may be found elsewhere on the web. Search engines may penalize you for having too much duplicate content.

Adding fresh, new and interesting content is one of the best ways to attract visitors to your website. Investigate the possibilities that suit you and imagine the possibilities that more visitors will provide (more traffic = more business).

This is the most common mistake a human could ever make; choosing the wrong affiliate program or product to sell. Many people only look for something that pays out large commission, and there is really nothing wrong with it.

But it will be better if the product you’re selling is in high demand. There are actually people in the whole world that wants it. Don’t just sell a product that pays out big, but will only get you 4 or 5 clicks a day.

Find something that is hot out there.

2. Multiple Streams of Income Are Good, But Not Always Good

Well, because affiliate programs are free to join for some. You might be like most people out there that are thinking, what if I joined two and I make two thousands, I should join ten and then I will make ten thousands. It’s a wrong and wishful thinking of yours.

Now, human are not designed to multi task. Therefore, by joining many affiliate programs at once will just hinder you. You will not be able to concentrate, therefore, an affiliate program that could let you earn $10,000 a month will get you only half of it if you don’t focus.

Do it slow but sure, start with one program. Research the market and the competition. Then focus on that one program and start with another if you’re really done with it.

3. No Action, Talk Only

When you’re an affiliate marketer, your sole purpose is to help people buy and not to sell them out. There is a slight difference between that and people that buy from you can feel it. If you’re just talking blatantly about a product when you’re not using it or maybe you’re not researching it quite deep, people won’t buy from you because you can’t understand what they need and want.

If you don’t want to try the product at least you should research the product, its merits and its demerits. Remember, people don’t like to be sold; you’re just helping them buy.

Too many people in the affiliate programs make these mistakes and for that little mistake, they are paying it big. Try not to fall into these mistakes.

Article marketing is one of the most effective free traffic methods; because once an article is published, it will permanently stay on the web and generate automatic income for your site, non-stop.

First and foremost I am a believer in the theory that content is king and should not be replaced by linking. When you are building links remember that if your content is great than once people visit your website through the links you place on the web they will be much more likely to offer you links freely usually without even your consultation which is called link baiting though it is a little out of this articles concepts.

If you are online to earn money online or are just trying to learn promotion for your personal website or blog then a backlink should be something constantly on your mind. A backlink is a hyperlink pointing to a URL and is not located on the domain it is pointed towards. For example if you have a blog on blogger.com and place your URL (Uniform Resource Locator which you can find in the address bar when you access your blog on your explorer) on a site such as digg.com the hyperlink on digg.com which you placed is called a backlink and is the deciding factor of which site ranks where on major search engines after content has been considered and sometimes even without the consideration of content if the backlinks are strong enough.

These are extremely difficult backlinks to acquire and any good internet marketing expert should always be on the lookout for possible high quality highly relevant backlinks. When I say relevant I do not mean the category of your website, but the niche of your website which is a bit broader. For example if your website is about fishing poles that is the category, but the niche is the “fishing” niche and you can gain relevant backlinks for websites in such categories as fishing theory, fishing tips, fishing line, types of fish, really any and every website about fishing you should be seeking a cross promotional relationships with these sites. There are plenty of ways besides gaining relevant high priority links which you will see advertised and the majority of these will get you in trouble. Stay away from any easy links since the majority will be link farms (websites which creation was for the sole purpose of boosting link popularity) and stick with either websites like yours or websites which have a high Page Rank. You can see a websites Page Rank by downloading Google’s toolbar and installing it with the Page Rank feature. This adds to the confidence that your subscribers have in you. If your subscribers write to tell you how much your tips have helped them, add this to your writing. It will help gain your subscribers’ trust.
