Once you have finished creating your website, you are probably feeling a mixture of emotions. You are proud to have started and completed your task and you are excited at the prospects of what will happen. You can easily see 500 people a day coming to your site and buying the products that you sell or that you promote. You can easily see your bank account grow and grow with each passing day.
However, after a short period of time, you realize that 500 people are not going to just find your website on a daily basis. You are going to have to work to drive that traffic to your site. And you have to if you want to turn your blog or your website into an internet cash machine. You are going to have to learn how to market your website to the world, letting people know that you exist as well as what it is that you have to offer. You need exposure.
This is when most people either give up or they face a long struggle, trying to find out what internet marketing methods will work for them. You may do a little research and find that for a substantial amount of money, you can hire a service to promote your site. This can range anywhere from a few hundred dollars to thousands. However, if you are new to internet marketing , you most likely do not have that kind of money to promote your site.
Before you decide to give up , you must explore a free option that can realistically bring you the traffic that you desire without having to cough up any real money at all. Writing articles and then using those articles to promote your site or your blog can be a very productive as well as cost efficient way to promote your online business. You can submit these articles to high traffic websites and article directories and have hundreds of people flood your site within a very short period of time.
When I started out, I had no idea on how I should promote my website at all. I had no business background and definitely not any idea of what internet marketing was all about. Today I can send hundreds of visitors on a daily basis to multiple websites that I own and this is how I can produce a full-time income from the comfort of my home.
Using articles to promote your website is something that even highly experienced marketers with large advertising budgets use because it drives targeted traffic to your site. You are getting people that are interested in your topic and they will convert into buyers at a much higher rate than if they just randomly stumbled upon your site.
